Aether League Privacy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

1. Information we collect

Aether League collects information you provide when creating and maintaining an account, such as email address, username, display name, date of birth, country, time zone, biography, avatar, team memberships, and game-account identifiers. We also process competition information including registrations, rosters, schedules, match reports, standings, disputes, notifications, and administrative actions.

2. Competition Client and telemetry

If you install or use the Aether Competition Client, it may process local game state and match telemetry needed to identify you, recognize eligible matches, display live information, maintain local match history, and report authorized competition statistics. For Rocket League this can include game-running state, private-match status, Match GUID, playlist, arena, player/game identifiers, teams, scores, result, player score, goals, assists, saves, shots, demos, touches, boost, speed, MVP status, and match timing when those fields are available from the local telemetry source.

The Client may retain a bounded local completed-match archive on your device to support match recognition and profile history. Not every locally observed match becomes an official Aether competition record. Aether does not represent telemetry as anti-cheat software and does not intentionally use the Client to inspect unrelated personal files.

3. Technical information

Like most online services, Aether and its infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser or client information, authentication/session information, request metadata, error logs, timestamps, and security signals necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the service.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide accounts and profiles; operate teams, events, scheduling, brackets, reporting, standings and notifications; recognize and verify competition activity; moderate the community; investigate abuse or disputes; secure and improve Aether League; provide support; and comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with infrastructure and service providers that process data for Aether League, such as hosting, database/authentication, email, and security providers. Public competitive information—such as usernames, teams, event participation, results, standings, and selected statistics—may be visible to other users or the public as part of the competition service. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, Aether League, or competition integrity.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Aether League, maintain competition history and integrity, resolve disputes, provide security, and satisfy legal obligations. Different categories may have different retention periods. Local Competition Client history can also exist on the device independently of server-side Aether records.

7. Your choices

You can update many profile details through Aether League and can stop using the Competition Client at any time. You may contact Aether League regarding access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. Some competition, security, moderation, or transaction records may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.

8. Children

Aether League accounts are not intended for children under 13. Aether requires a date of birth that satisfies the minimum age requirement when a date of birth is supplied through the account-creation flow. If we learn that an ineligible child has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

9. Security and international processing

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect Aether information, including authentication and database access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Aether and its providers may process information in locations different from where you live, subject to applicable legal requirements.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Aether League changes. The updated date above identifies the current version. Privacy questions or requests may be directed through Aether League’s published support channel; support@aetherleague.com is being established for public launch.
